Hotel Reservation Instructions (Limited to 30 rooms, Early Booking Advised)

SMALL VENUE AND HOTEL WILL FILL UP SOON. Early booking is strongly advised. A block of only 30 rooms is available at the hotel. Once those are booked, any other attendees will need to find other local accommodations.

Book hotel rooms by calling the Stonebridge Inn (https://www.destinationhotels.com/stonebridge-inn/hotel) at (844) 330-1859 or (970) 429-5055, during regular business hours (Mountain Time) and ask for the “Rutgers 2024” group rate.  If they have problems finding this rate, it is because your call got rolled over to the Hyatt national call center which does not have access to our local group rate; this can happen if you call outside business hours or if all three of the local reservation agents are busy. If that happens, just call back later and confirm, first,  that you are speaking with local Snowmass reservation agent. We expect that most people will arrive on Monday, January 8th, and depart on Friday, January 12th, staying four nights and allowing them three full days of skiing, snowboarding, or other mountain recreation and diversion. The cost for the rooms—with our special negotiated conference rates—will be $299/night base charge plus 19.57% in taxes and resort fees (for total cost per night of $357.51). Those wishing to arrive a day earlier (Sunday, January 7th) and/or depart a day later (Saturday, January 13th), may do so if there are rooms available. Booking early will give you maximal flexibility and options. For those who wish to stay only three nights (i.e., arriving on Tuesday, January 9th and departing on Friday, January 12th), the base room rate is higher, at $349/night (which comes to $417.39/night with the taxes and fees). Note that in the unlikely event that any of our 30 rooms has not been booked by Monday morning, November 27th (day after Thanksgiving), these rooms will be released back to the hotel and no longer available at the conference rate.

ASPEN SNOWMASS GENERAL INFORMATION

EXTRA-CURRICULAR ATTRACTIONS AND INFORMAL DISCUSSIONS: The Stonebridge Inn is located in Snowmass Village, walking distance from the ski lifts of Snowmass Ski resort, one of the largest ski resorts in the country. Aspen Mountain and Aspen Highlands (all on the IKON ski pass), as well as vibrant downtown Aspen, is just a 20-minute drive away. There are additional options for XC/Nordic skiing, snowshoeing as well as cultural and other attractions in downtown Aspen, Colorado.
