Apply for Student Travel Fellowship
Deadline for submitting a proposal for a FULLY-FUNDED STUDENT TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP is June 15, 2024 with winners to be notified by July 1st. Fellowship awards will cover round-trip travel from the US to Tel Aviv, shared hotel accommodations for four nights in Tel Aviv, and complimentary conference registration. Applicants must be currently based at a university in the United States, doing research on aging, brain health, and/or Alzheimer’s disease, and able to create and present a poster on their research at the conference. Fellowship applicants can be undergraduates, post-baccalaureate research assistants, or graduate students. Priority will be given to those who are planning to apply in the future to either PhD programs or Postdoctoral fellowships in neuroscience or related fields. Applicants should submit their proposal as a single PDF that includes a cover letter explaining the potential impact of attending the conference on their short and long-term career goals, a proposed poster title and maximum 500-word abstract, and their resume/CV. Application PDF files should be named (last name).(university).USISRAEL and emailed to gluck@rutgers.edu with the header “Application for Student Travel Fellowship to US-Israel Conference”.
Note: Other deadlines are: July 15, 2024 for other submissions of a poster presentation by US or Israeli students or postdoctoral fellows (assuming all poster slots are still available; earlier submissions are recommended). September 1, 2024 for conference registration. Note that everyone who submits a poster must *also* register online; no poster submissions will be accepted without conference registration.
