Josh, Genesis and Zuzanna and I arrived in San Diego to attend the opening reception party for the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference. It appears to have been organized by party planners who usually do Bar Mitzvah’s and High School Proms; lots of silly photo opportunities staged (and awful and loud 1980s cover band to drown out conversation). But we got into the swing of it and had fun time. Even managed to talk brain science with a few people, too. Next two days are a series of meetings, lunches and dinners with colleagues and collaborators and funders for the four of us with Josh, Genesis and Zuzanna all presenting scientific posters.
