WHO is at risk of Alzheimer’s disease?

In the USA Alzheimer’s disease affects:

  • 5 million adults.
  • 1 out of 10 people, ages 65-75.
  • Half of people over 85 yrs.old.

Alzheimer’s is the 4th leading cause of death due to disease for those over 65. African-Americans are more than twice as likely as the general population to develop Alzheimer’s disease.
